Classic Cliché Skateboards Last Supper artwork with collector appeal
Founded in 1997 by French skateboarder Jeremie Daclin in Lyon, Cliché Skateboards arrived at a time when the skateboarding industry was almost entirely dominated by American brands. Starting with a small team and a distinctly European identity, Cliché helped establish a stronger international presence for European skateboarding through its riders, graphics and a series of influential skate videos. Videos including Bon Appétit, Freedom Fries and Gypsy Life documented the team’s progression through the 2000s and into the 2010s, capturing some of the most creative skating to come out of Europe during that era.
After nearly a decade away, Cliché is officially back. Founder Jeremie Daclin reclaimed the trademark and partnered with Sidewalk Distribution to revive the brand, focusing on limited-edition reissues of the classic graphics and shapes that made Cliché iconic in the first place. From the Marc McKee Last Supper series to early JB Gillet pro models, the returning Cliché celebrates the brand’s original identity while giving a new generation of skaters the chance to own a piece of European skateboarding history.
